About the blog:

Welcome to the Left Field!  I don’t know how you made it here – but I’m glad you did.  Even if it was unintentional (like the visitor today from Switzerland who was searching for information on full leg casts and was sent to my post on Life Lessons My Brothers Taught Me – I’m sure you gleaned valuable information and for that, you’re welcome my friend).  Those who frequent here know that this is not a blog with a particular theme.  I’m not that focused or passionate about any one single thing.  I write what comes to mind – sometimes it’s been brewing inside for months, sometimes it’s a rant that must come out of me immediately.  Join the crew – some have emails sent to them letting them know when another beauty of a post is ready to be read, others wait for it to pop up on Facebook.  Introduce yourself, leave a comment, or email me!

About Me (also known as Rambler Girl, Sista Insane, or emily):

This is the hard part.

Where do I start?  Here are some of my titles; wife, mommy, friend, daughter, sister, follower of Christ, medical assistant, writer, passionate photography hobbyist…

I’m in my 30’s.  I’ve got a lot to learn about life and God.  I’ve also lived long enough to experience a few things – great joy, deep sorrow, and everything in between.  I’ve got questions.  The more I learn, the more I realize I don’t know much at all.  I write some of it out here on this blog – it’s a public trash can for my thoughts.

There you have it friends!  Stick around and stay awhile.
